Refugee Week
Refugee Week – It’s this week!! 11th 19th June !! Over 500 activities are taking place around the UK to celebrate offering sanctuary to those who need it. BRR is playing its bit by hosting a tea, cake and info stall at the Queens Square launch event on Sunday 13th June. We are also opening up the Drop in to members of the public on Thursday 17th June so people can “ have a cup of tea with a refugee”. We need volunteers to staff the stall, bake cakes and be in the centre. Please email back if you can help.
Have a cup of tea with a refugee - Thursday 17th June 10.30am - 12.30am and 2pm - 3pm (FREE). Newton Hall.
