£5 per month pays for 1 member to have a cooked meal each week, in a safe place among friends – for 16% of our members, this is the only cooked meal they have each week

£10 per month pays for a member to receive advocacy support with their asylum claim.

£25 per month provides support for volunteering opportunities for BRR members.

Make a one-off Donation

£5  supports 1 member to volunteer at Welcome Centre for a day – volunteering helps members to feel better about themselves

£10 pays for access to all BRR services for 1 members for 1 day.

£150 refreshments, including lunch, for members for one week.

Donating via Localgiving costs BRR around 6% of your donation, but saves us greatly as it administers all the gift aid. You can give a one-off donation, or give monthly.  #GiveMe5 is Local Giving’s latest match fund initiative.  They will  double 1,000 x £5 donations made during a 24hr period. If you donate £5 to BRR on one of these dates via Local Giving your donation will be doubled.

Donating via Paypal is the cheapest way to give. You can give a one-off donation, or give monthly (click on the ‘make this recurring’ button). If you are a taxpayer and want to gift aid your donation, please fill in Gift Aid Form and return to the office.

Alternatively, you can make a donation directly to our bank account – contact the office for further details. If you would like to be kept up to date with our work please join our mailing list at the bottom of this page.

Other ways to donate

Cheque – send a cheque payable to Bristol Refugee Rights to the office. If you are a UK tax-payer and are able to gift aid your donation, please download this Gift Aid Form and send with your donation. If you’d like to set up a standing order, contact the office, and we’ll be able to help.

Textgiving – TEXT BRRI14 £10 to 70070 to donate £10 to BRR

Charities Aid Foundation  – if you wish to make regular donations and take advantage of Gift Aid, a CAF Charity Account may be suitable for you – see CAF. If you click on the link, you will be able to get guidance on how to set up a CAF Charity Account from which regular donations can be made.  If you are eligible for Gift Aid your account will be credited accordingly enabling you to donate more to your chosen charities.

On-line purchasing – Step one is to visit http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk and you will see a box marked ‘Create an account’ on the home page. Click on that and you will be asked to enter an email address and a password, and then register Bristol Refugee Rights as your ’cause’.  If you are already registered for a different cause you can add Bristol Refugee Rights as a second cause if you have a second email address. Step two happens when you want to buy something from one of the suppliers affiliated to the scheme (the easyfundraising website lists all 2000 of them). You go into the easyfundraising site and log in, then you click on the site you want to buy from, e.g. Amazon, from within the easyfundraising site. You make your purchase as normal and the supplier will then make a donation to Bristol Refugee Rights.  You will receive an e-mail in due course from easyfundraising notifying you of the amount (this can take from a day or so up to 30 days – even from the same supplier).
