Bristol Refugee Rights are shocked and saddened to hear that two people were murdered in Bristol on 12 September. We believe that one of the victims was known to Bristol Refugee Rights. His name was Fahad Hossain Pramanik. The other victim was Denzil McKenzie and was not known to us. Our sympathy goes to both their families and all that knew them.
The police have arrested and charged 2 people for this crime and they are in prison waiting to go to court. The police are continuing to investigate what happened and we do not have any further comment or information at this time.
Anyone linked to Bristol Refugee Rights who needs support can of course contact us.
If you have information about the crime please contact the police: 0800 555 111. You can do this without telling them your name.
