Volunteering
The fantastic team of volunteers at BRR is fundamental to the work of the organisation. Without the energy and commitment of volunteers we simply could not deliver our services.
We support children and young people seeking asylum. Many children are unaccompanied, meaning they have arrived here alone, without an adult to look after or support them. Often they are homeless or in unsafe accommodation. We work closely with social workers and lawyers to resolve their situations and ensure these children and young people are properly cared for. Supporting them means better and swifter outcomes in care, at school, in their physical and mental health, their integration into our communities and in their future lives.
