The Bristol Refugee Rights Welcome Centre is a support service and social space for asylum seekers as well as new refugees. The Welcome Centre is at the Malcom X Community Centre…
Are you a lesbian, gay, bisexual or transsexual+ asylum seeker or refugee in Bristol?
Bristol Pride without Borders is a support group that provides a place for Bristol-based LGBT+ asylum seekers and refugees. Members of the group meet to share their stories with others in the same situation, talk about legal issues and find out about other support groups based in Bristol. We also learn to feel proud of who we are .
As well as the support group there is also an opportunity to go on trips and engage in other activities.
If you are LGBT+ and an asylum seeker or refugee please come along! Pride Without Borders meets every other Wednesday from 6 till 8pm.
If you would like further information or to join us, please contact Tom on 07856 672351.
